When do periods become regular after birth?

I had my DS almost nine months ago, it took rough 3 months for my periods to return, but my cycles have been very long, anywhere between 32 days - 42 days. I have never breastfed. Is my body still recovering from child birth and taking its time to go back to normal or should I be worrying. I was on the pill 8 years before I had him and fell pregnant straight away.

I’d see GP about this if I were you. I know it’s different for everyone but I’d want some clarification after 9 months. I take it you’re not on any contraception now?
