Ovarian Cyst Symptoms

Hoping to get some input from ladies that have been through this. So after feeling just off for some months, including daily headaches which vary in intensity and very gassy after drinking or eating anything! I had scans and was advised I have complex cysts on my left ovary and others on the right. After seeing gyne they have advised its all related to endometriosis and am now waiting for a laperascopy to hopefully sort.
After reading lots of previous threads on here ( which is all incredibly reassuring!) I'm wondering if others who have gone through had the headaches? My GP initially said they are tension headaches caused by the stress of the last few months but as I pointed out to her, they started well before I knew about the cysts. I'm thinking the cysts are playing havoc with my hormones and digestion. My gynaecologist agreed they definitely affect digestion etc but thought it was unlikely to cause headaches. Honestly I find them so debilitating as it's every day and really want them to stop. I guess I'm.hoping once the cysts are resolved everything will ease. I am 44 so also considering its a hideous symptom of perimenopause. Thanks all !

I have endo and get pre-menstrua headaches - but not daily. That’s probably not helpful. You may be right that the headaches have another cause.

But it’s also possible you were stressed before you knew about the cysts.

Either way I hope the headaches and any pain you’re in from the cysts improve soon.

@vincettenoir thank you for taking the time to reply. I hope your headaches are manageable and don't cause you too much pain.

My gynecologist did say it was only likely to be related had I have premenstrual headaches which I don't. Still feel they are hormone related in someway but maybe due to my age and possible peri 😏who knows?!
