Does anyone else absolutely CRINGE at the Always Discreet adverts?
I have several objections;

1/ It’s sexist-I’ve not yet seen a male version.

2/ It’s TMI - peeing your pants etc etc

3/ surely it’s misleading. I would have thought if you need to pee that much there should be a disclaimer saying you might benefit from seeing medical advice . There are lots of solutions for incontinence.

Women are being diminished every day in television adverts-simply reduced to bodily functions.

let’s stop this 🛑

You have a point in 1, but I would imagine there is a lot less male urinary incontinence especially below a certain age so not worth them spending on advertising. Once you're in prostrate issues you probably don't care what your underwear looks like much, for the majority.

The woman on the toilet advert irritates the fuck out of me though.

I totally agree
It's cringe worthy and frankly inaccurate.
I've never known of a menopausal women have such severe urine incontinence as the advert suggests, unless they were unwell or had such medical issues
It should be banned honestly
I find it embarrassing wondering if younger people or men etc, are now assuming we are all walking around with pants like sodden nappies!!
