Pain on one breast

Hi,
I have what feels like tissue pain on one breast between my armpit and breast since about a week. There are no noticeable lumps but I feel as though the breast tissue on that side is more dense in comparison to the other.
I went through an extensive check 2 years ago due to benign cysts and all came out fine.
No family history of breast cancer, no smoking and under 40.
Can this happen with no cancer, any positive stories? I will call the gp tomorrow and feeling so worried.

I get this off and on and have had four trips to the breast clinic for my breast - thankfully all nothing. Have had the area looked at, felt etc and nothing

Obviously you need to get it checked, but I had an appointment at specialist centre yesterday for breast pain – no lumps, apparent, but I was feeling pain and felt there was a change in texture. I was checked, had a mammogram and told that all is fine – that sometimes hormonal swings can cause symptoms I had. I hope that you have the same positive outcome.
