Anyone had water infection (uti ) ? So iv been docs and did a wee sample , been told Is infection but sending it to the lab ?? I’m due my period anyday now but 4 days late and had slight spotting since this water infection , but definitely don’t think it’s my period . Has anyone had a uti with slight blood ? Iv taken about 4 pregnancy tests too so I'm not pregnant

Yea I always bleed if my uti is not treated promptly
What have they given you?

Darthwazette · 23/05/2023 13:00

I’ve had a uti with so much blood my wee was red. Small spots is probably more normal than not. Do you have antibiotics

Burnamer · 23/05/2023 13:01

Yes it can happen.

PinkFootstool · 23/05/2023 13:05

Yes, I've peed out blood a few times with UTIs. Have they given you antibiotics yet?

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 23/05/2023 20:10

To mention the blood is only when I wipe after a wee , just looks like spotting . And yes iv been given antibiotics 3 day course , since taking those though my belly and sides is hurting ! Hopefully passes soon x

Plenty of water to flush it out! I also try to rinse myself with the shower a few times a day while I'm badly symptomatic - seems to help ease me a bit.

If your symptoms are getting worse or not better speak to a dr again / phone 111 if you aren’t sure. The infection can spread. I hope you are better soon.

Thankyou ! Iv never had anything bad as this it just came out of nowhere , glad iv got antibiotics and if needed could have longer course if symptoms don't go , to be honest I haven't been drinking any water through the day so I do think that could be why I got the infection in the first place , I'd got hours without fluids because iv been so busy Confused

When I have one the pain is so bad I can't cope. Last time I had one I went to walk in and peed. By the time I was seen they asked me to do another as first one didn't show anything. By the time I did the second one about 3 hours after the first it looked like rose wine it was that bloody! Fair play to anyone who can deal with the pain without going to walk in

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 23/05/2023 21:23

@teaandtoastwithmarmite wow lucky mines only slight bleeding on tissue , but I reckon if I left it any longer it would of turned into same as yours . I was at my sons party on Sunday and peed myself soon as I got home could not hold it any longer and the pain is just awful .

Only taken two tablets today and seems to be no more blood so far , I think these are strong antibiotics because my stomach feels awful

Drink as much as you can really over the next few days - you need to flush it all through and it may help with the gutrot. Obv you'll need to be near a loo today and tomorrow, but you should feel the difference in peeing by tomorrow really.
