My last smear revealed abnormal cells (HPV & moderate dyskaryosis) and I had a colposcopy 11 days ago. All was going well until I has very heavy bleeding on Saturday. Its eased off now to a light flow thankfully but what I can't find it whether it's likely to get heavy again or whether I can consider myself as recovering well and get back to my exercise classes again.
I know I can't have sex or go swimming for 4 weeks after the procedure coz of infection but not sure how long I should take things easy for to prevent further heavy bleeding?
Does anyone have experience of this? I've tried phoning the clinic but not heard back from them.
