I am starting back on SSRIs and have been given citalopram. I have used it before and it was a real game changer for me! The GP mentioned it wasn't what they usually recommend in women of childbearing age as it's not got enough research in early pregnancy. My family is complete and I have no intention of having any more children. For one reason or another, I just never went onto birth control, relied on condoms and have been happy with that but the GP was so concerned about a surprise pregnancy, that now I've got myself all worried (hence why I need to go back on SSRIs 🤣)

So I need some positives and negatives for birth control, what are my options? What's good these days? Or should I just send DH for the snip??
