I have always had regular periods, a 26-28 day cycle. Last year they got a little closer together, 23-25 days. In late November I had the depo. Prior to this I hadn't taken hormonal contraceptives for about 18 months. I was due my period the day after the depo, but it didn't arrive (not pregnant). I bled from 24th Dec for 3 weeks, but it wasn't like a period, it was just on wiping, every single time for 3 weeks 🥴. Anyway, I still haven't had a period. I should of had the depo again at the end of Feb, but as it made me spot for 3 weeks, and reduced my libido to zero, I decided not to have it again. In April I was prescribed Roaccutane which needs contraception whilst taking. I started Microgynon on 18th April, took the 3 weeks, finishing on 9th May. My withdrawal bleed hasn't happened either. I'm due to recommence tomorrow... but I'm just confused as to what the hell is going on in my body!
Before anyone asks, no I'm not pregnant, yes I'm sure. Yes I do test, monthly for the roaccutane to be prescribed. I haven't had sex either thanks to the effects of the depo 👍. And I'm 38.
