I’ve had a copper coil for around a year with few issues other than it making my periods slightly heavier and longer - usually around 6 days. My cycle is very regular, always between 27 and 29 days and usually 28. For some reason this month my period was 4 days late (so started very light bleeding day 32) and bleeding stopped within 24 hours. I’m so confused, this is incredibly unusual for me. I’ve done two pregnancy tests with FMU on CD 31 and 32 which were both negative so I’d be very surprised if I were pregnant but I don’t know what else to do. Everything I’ve seen online suggests this can happen sometimes but it feels so weird and unusual for me I think I should look into it further….but would a Gynae think I was being ridiculous to ask?! Has anyone ever experienced anything similar?
