I had a baby 16 months ago and had 2nd degree tear (1st degree with my 1st DD and nothing with my 2nd DD) it was a bit of mess and I had to have stitches inside too.
Anway, every so often the scar tissue aches if I've wore tight jeans etc or when I've wore a pad. I can only use unscented as down there feels swollen and painful.
I've had the achey sore feeling today, I was on my period last week so put down to that. I've felt uncomfortable but nothing awful. I went to the loo and after wiping noticed some blood streaked discharge.
My husband (poor sod) has had a look down there and he said it looks swollen and red...then I remembered we've been using scented toilet roll with 'added lotion'
Could this be the reason? Had my smear in January and had all clear.
