Bikini Line / C Section Injury!

Okay so this is really grim and embarrassing.

I have a major C-section overhang. It is reducing as I lose weight but is still huge at the moment. Last week I decided to try Veet cream rather than a trimmer for a change. And then clearly scraped too hard at the top of the bikini line, by the scar, and right under the overhang.

It is now red raw and weeping, and I can't get it dry to heal. Have used Germolone etc initially. I think it might now have a bit of a smell too which I guess means it might be getting infected? Confused

Have tried this cream but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any advice or recommendations would be hugely welcome, I feel quite terrible about it!

When you shower gently dry it and rub a generous amount of sudacrem into it. Do the same in the morning. Don’t keep messing with it. Make sure it’s clean at bedtime and smother with sudacrem. It will heal. If you think it’s infected though don’t ignore that, get it checked out. You may need antibiotics.

Keep it as dry as possible. Use a sanitary pad. Maternity one would be better if you have any but something none perfumed. Wear big knickers to hold it in place and hopefully it will dry out and heal. If it’s still smelly and red in A day or two and showing no signs of getting better jt probably needs looked at.

Thanks both so much! I don't know why I didn't think of Sudocreme - it is of course the answer to everything Grin
