Bleeding after sex

Hi I have a history of abnormal cells on my cervix .last letz in January due to go back in July..

This month however 3 days before my period was due me and my partner had sex and I bledd after bright red blood..I was hoping it was my period just ckme early although This had never happened before.
And fast forward to yesturday I thought my period had ended as yeaturday I was just having brown stuff left...me and my partner did the deed yesturday evening and bright red blood again..im petrified of why this is happening..has anyone else had bleeding after sex when they thought there period was over...im petrified its cc ,endometrial cancer or vaginal cancer

Any chance you could be pregnant? This always used to happen to me in pregnancy as your cervix is sensitive. It's probably nothing to worry about but ring GP just to double check. Rough s** can also cause it, hope everything is ok OP

Just because I have health anxiety dosnt mean my symptoms aren't real..im looking for people who have been through it and had a simular experience

I mean there's a change but if I was I shouldn't ge bleeding that bad..I was due on my period and it has come to an end or so I thought so maybe its the tail end of that I don't no...

It might be a cervical erosion.
If you’ve had Lletz recently it might also be abnormal cells.
It’s highly unlikely to have developed into cancer. Did they get clear borders last time?

Tuesday morning ring your GP.
Try and relax till then, you’ve been in the system before so am sure will be seen and treated quickly.

Apparently so yes...they Saif they did it was cin 1 and 2 it was only in January.im hoping its my period but so worried

You could be having cervical ectropion like me

I came off the pill 3 months ago I think u only get that from the pill

I’ve had exactly this! It is a sign of cervical cancer so please do ofcourse check it out, but mine came back as an ectropion, which is totally harmless - which I think is exactly what you mention in your op too

Not just the pill. My further scans showed eventually i had endometriosis too following that. Just get a smear test done for peace of mind.

My last smear was in Dec which came back abnormal I had a letz done in Jan which removed all the abnormal cells and I go back in July for a test of cure again.im wandering if anyone has had this after they have sposed to have finished there period

It’s highly likely to be fine.
I had CIN3 and unclear borders on the bit removed and 14 years later I’ve been fine.

Do ring your GP, they might bring your smear forward for peace of mind x

Had two rounds of abnormal cells just after I stopped the pill. It calmed down eventually. Don’t go on the pill again, i wish i never did anyway.

No no more treatment. 6 monthly smears for years and every single one was fine.

Deep breath. I used to bleed after sex for a long time too, but i was doing regular smear test for precaution and it was all fine afterwards. I think you are going through that stage.

I've had 2 leetz now for abnormal cells 😭...as the at the test of cure it at come back 😭worried so much I hate this

They ideally like a clear edge so they’re sure they’ve got it all. Lack of a clear edge doesn’t mean they haven’t got it all, just they might not have. All been absolutely fine since.

Had mine last month actually and the nurse took an extra good sample for me, they just test for HPV now, but she said they’ll still see if anything looks dodgy and even spot things like thrush. They put all your history with your sample.

Anyway, my point being, mine was as bad as it can get before cancer and the Lletz worked. So try not to worry.

Well my last smear was high grade servere and my leetz ,biopsy was cin 1 and 2 so that worry me abit too...have they missed anything.they said they got it all just this bleeding is worrying me but hoping it's just the end of my period 😭.
This is my second leetz in a year due to the cells returning after 6 months sk I can only fear the worst
