Hello mumsnet
I have an appointment with my GP in two weeks time but I was wondering if anyone had any tips / hints / suggestions on how to ease my currently miserable life in the mean time?
I'm 32.I have always suffered with UTIs since late teenage hood - got them 3-4 times a year. But for the past year it's been every month - its awful I'm fed up of feeling uncomfortable, heavy and needing to dash to the toilet. I'll seem to get over one uti, feel "okay" for a week and then it flares up again.
For the past 7 months I've also experienced (what joy) bleeding between periods - so instead of my usual 28 days I'll come back on after five or six days after my period has finished and will be on again for another week then I'll spot between, on the odd occasion I have intercourse (which usually sets off a uti so we try to be very careful) I'll bleed bright red for 24-48 hours afterwards. I cant tell if the utis are caused by discharge? When not bleeding or suffering with a uti I'm quite damp / lots of watery discharge. I'm also horribly bloated, run down (gums are all inflamed) and just feel like I'm on my last legs - please can anyone recommend anything to ease these symptoms? I want to enjoy life with my 3 children but i feel like i spend my life on the loo!😖
