PCS Pelvic Congestion Syndrome

Has anyone been diagnosed with this?
I had a scan today and it was mentioned but I was told it’s nothing to worry about? I had never heard of it before. I was having a scan after suffering with prolonged painful periods, GP wanted me to have a scan before getting a coil fitted. I was told PCS isn’t the cause for my bleeding issues and it shouldn’t cause the kind of pain I have been experiencing, but reading online it sounds like it could cause more pain than just a dull ache?
I have to wait for my gp to look at the scan results and compare them to other scans I have had to see if the PCS showed up on those too.

Hi I know you wrote this a while ago but hopefully you will see this 🙏🏻 I'm wondering how you got on? I recently went to the gp after suffering with crippling trapped wind on the first few days of my period combined with cramps. I had an ultrasound and trans ultrasound. The sonographer said they could see enlarged vessels on my right ovary. She said she couldn't see anything sinister. But my bloods were showing ca125 slightly elevated. Not sure if PCS would show on this they were pointing more towards endometriosis.
