It says your calorie budget. So that’s what the app has worked you can eat in a day? Presuming you are dieting. You were under this with total calories eaten : those are inside the apple picture.

Disco2023 · 24/04/2023 08:24

Further to that it’s saying you need a deficit of 520 each day but your deficit yesterday was actually more at 748 calories.

Basically you need to not go over the calorie budget number to lose weight that’s what it’s telling you.

Thank you for replying in apple is what I ate for day it says I can eat 1605 calories which seems a lot
Which I do try to eat under
Do you understand the deflict
Says required 520
Actual 740
Do I take some off ?
I did Google and it says A woman should eat 500 less than the 2000
To lose weight mine says 1605 ?

Based on what you put in the app you need 2128 cals per day to maintain weight. To lose weight it says you need a deficit of 520 calories. Based on what you have recorded as eaten on the app you've created a deficit of over 700 that day, so that's good!

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 24/04/2023 09:10

You ate 748 calories less than your body needs to maintain its weight.

So on one hand you are eating low enough to lose weight but we're you hungry?

Eating too far below your maintenance can mean you feel hungry and deprived which makes it hard to stick to a diet.

You could have had a couple of boiled eggs and still been more than 500 calories below maintenance.

There is a balance to be found in dieting, make sure that you aren't restricting too much, it's a long haul game and you need to be able to stick to it.
