I was referred for an ultrasound by my GP as my CA125 markers were slightly high (and my mum had ovarian cancer).
The sonographer was able to confirm I have one simple cyst measuring 3cm on my right ovary and two Endometrioma cysts measuring a bit over 3cm each on the left ovary.
I have a follow up appt with the GP in a few weeks but was wondering if anyone has any experience with endometrioma cysts in the meantime? I see from Google it can affect fertility but don’t want to read too much or I’ll work myself up! Can they be removed or do you just have to live with them?
