I keep getting thrush but I never know I have it until I see a medical professional for something else e.g. a smear test, STI test. Then it turns out I have thrush. I feel really humiliated today as the nurse said it's 'quite extensive', but I don't have any itching, soreness or smells. Possibly a bit of pain during sex but I think that could be due to other factors.
My question is a) why does it keep coming back and how can I stop it. And b) why am I not getting any symptoms, can't I just leave it if it's not bothering me?!
Please note - ive had thrush once years ago where I definitely knew I had it so I know what the symptoms feel like.
