Hello

sorry TMI

I’m a regular poster but NC cos of sensitive topic so pls I’m not a troll 😊

I noticed that my right nipple always has a yellow crust on one of the pores but I keep taking it out and the crust forms over again

This night I have taken it out and noticed a little bit of blood on the crust ( though when I pressed the boob nothing came out, so I’m suspecting it’s from the skin maybe)

Is this normal for boobs ( as my left one is not like that ) or I need to head to the doc ?

Just had an ultrasound on both boobs 2 weeks ago

pic attached of crust when out and nipple when crust is out

Thank you

I get this occasionally. No idea why. Doctor said it's normal, there was some name for it but I've forgotten. As long as it doesn't get itchy/smelly/swollen you should be fine.

maddy68 · 11/04/2023 23:53

I get that fairly frequently. It's fine but if you are worried see a gp

Might be a bit of colostrum? Worth getting your prolactin levels checked if you aren't pregnant or breastfeeding.

It's a Nipple. Get a grip !
It's usually dried skin that flakes off sometimes a bit like a scab I haven't had it Fiorela ages but used to get it frequently

I've had that in the past. It's likely harmless, like the crusty stuff round your eyes in the morning sometimes. Before I had my dch there was often this (like yellow sugar crystals) or bits of skin coming out, but since I've finished bf it's all healed over and nothing since. So I would say it's fine, but don't pick, and let it heal over!

I always let it heal over but then it’s always there like something that has to come out . Never really forms back as normal skin

but I won’t pick it again

thank you

It really isn't gross OP. It is a perfectly acceptable looking nipple. We all have them! Fwiw I have had this a few times and it just went away on its own.
