I had thrush this week, got treatment Clotrimazole pesary tablets 200mg for 3 days.
The first two days it was so itchy, even a had shooting pains inside, on day 3 it got better, all stopped.
Day 4 morning ( yesterday) I had a quickee sex with DH, it was quite sore and burning and after I noticed I was spotting blood ( pinkish) for few mins, it was only when wiped.
I’m worried now as of the spotting as in a past I had abnormal smear tests CIN3 pre cancerous changes on my cervix and they removed a part of my cervix- this was in 2005. ( have regular smear tests)
Could the spotting be from the fragile lining inside after the thrush?
As it all felt sore inside.
When I had the abnormal cells my only symptoms were brownish spotting on day 18 of a period cycle, nothing else as at that time I had no boyfriend, so had no sex, so wouldn’t have know if bleeding after sex.
