hi all.. so I’m on my periods.. I’m in day 4 am in agony.. I had the copper coil fitted in December and my periods are HELL.. I have lower abdominal pain.. i would score the pain a 8/10… it was so bad that I had to go up the hospital today.. they sent me back with acid tablets to slow bleeding and said take paracetamol…. I went for the copper coil because I liked the idea it been hormone free … has anyone else experienced bad side effects like this? Please help I need some advice the hosp have not even checked the coil and have just sent me on my way.. :( they done my bloods .. examined my tummy and sent me back home…is it the coil or is it something else.. it’s driving me insane…. Pls help :(
