I posted a couple of weeks ago, had what I thought was a normal period after 13 months without one, contacted the dr and under the 2ww had a scan today. I have slight health anxiety anyway so have been through the mill waiting for this scan. Anyway, not sure if I now should be more worried, they are now referring me to have a camera inserted under the 2ww. I have 3 small simple cysts, a fibroid and a womb lining of 6mm. One ovary they could not see. They are not worried about the cysts or the fibroid just the womb lining, again Dr Google very scary and my GP even though she was lovely was a little scary. I am 54. Has anybody else had anything similar.

Yes, literally this week. Hysteroscopy as lining 6.5 mm. they suspect caused by my HRT.

Everything looked clear on camera, no polyps etc. they took biopsy to be on safe side and fitted Mirena as more effective at keeping womb lining thin than tablets.

Continuing on HRT and just relieved nothing serious.

Are you on HRT?

No not on HRT, they did say would not be so concerned if on HRT.

Just as a follow on, had hysteroscopy today, hardly felt anything so was a breeze but very scared. Nothing untoward seen, dr was reasonably confident everything was ok but biopsy taken so just waiting for results.
