Is this some sort of prolapse?

Hi,

So, I had a very minor prolapse when my DC was born 13 years ago. Some physio, no issues since. I am now post menopause. I recently started HRT for various reasons, and the progesterone made me constipated. This was also at the same time as I was lifting quite heavy weights.

Anyway, I don't know if it's in my head or not, but I feel like my vagina is a bit 'bruised' after a bowel movement. I can't feel anything protruding down into my vagina, although the upper wall feels a bit thick - but I've a good look - I mean, childbirth has not prettified my vagina, but nothing like a bulge...

And it's not 'pain' - it's just a feeling. I can't explain it. And now I'm wondering whether I'm massively overthinking it. Just worried combo of weights/straining might have caused fragile pelvic walls to worsen...

I know I should see a doctor and I will; just asking here for anecdotal information from those who've had similar.

Might by a rectocele. I would see GP and request a urogynae referral.
can be caused by trauma from childbirth, instrumental birth, being overweight, heavy lifting or anything that strains the rectum such as coughing/constipation

Yeah, I don't think it is a rectocele...
