If you're scared about not getting the cup out, try a disc! Hello disc has a tab so you can grab it easily, I love mine! No suction so better if you have an IUD and less likely to get stuck.

Give it a go - I swapped to a cup a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back. It has a stem to grab and you just squeeze the base and pull down. Inserting it took a bit of practice but it’s made such a difference - no cramps, no feeling of anything ‘foreign’, no string dangling

I started using a cup a few months ago. Takes a little practice to get used to inserting it, I still occasionally get a little leakage, but I really like it. I was flooding overnight with a tampon, no problem now. I haven't cut the stem yet and have never had a problem removing it (it sometimes moves a little higher for me overnight, which is why I haven't cut them stem, but I'm going to try trimming it slightly).

Do it! You won't look back. I didn't have any problems with leaking (as long as it was positioned right). You can always wear pads until you're confident. Getting it out is really not difficult.

Practice in the shower. I bought a mooncup 17 years ago and haven't looked back. I cut the stem off though completely, don't need it.

Mooncup all the way and I'm only young...hated tampons, a midwife suggested after first baby and I've never went back from them again
