I've only ever used Microgynon (ages 14-16) and Marvelon (ages 16-24, now). I had problems with getting strong period cramps while exercising on Microgynon so they switched me to Marvelon and I haven't had any issues since, until now.
At the end of Jan and today I've found that my period has started regardless of whether I start my next pill packet straight away. This has never happened to me on this pill before, my period always starts 4 days after I start my break (technically it's been 4 days today since my last pack ended but I've started my new pack already so I shouldn't be bleeding right now), but twice now it's started unexpectedly and it's messing with my day to day life.
My skin's also gotten really bad recently when prior to this it's been 95% perfect. I'm getting loads of spots and have suddenly developed acne on my chin and around my mouth, I didn't even get acne in school! I'm thinking this has something to do with the pill too
Anybody have any idea why this has suddenly started happening? Recommendations for new pills would be welcome too as I don't really know much about them or the differences between them. Idk if I want the mini pill as I'm not super consistent with taking them on time. Thanks!
