Hair regrowth

DD is 14m old. I lost a lot of hair after she was born but I am delighted it is now growing back. The regrowth is really thick and I look like an 80s hair metaller/nutty professor. How did you keep your hair tidy? I've used Kirby grips but ended up needing loads. That looked a bit weird too.

I had the same problem, my hair had been below my shoulders and all the regrowth was so weightless I ended up with 2005 scene girl hair.
For a while I blow dried mine flat and hairsprayed it so it wasn't pinging up all over the place.
But the contrast on mine looked bad so I ended up cutting it all shorter and leaning into the volume and it all grew out together
