I've had persistent thrush since January, like ongoing and only went for a few days then back again, swabbed positive for thrush - I've been put on a 6 month course of fluconazole and I've took two tablets within the last 72 hours and I've not noticed an inch of difference, I am still experiencing that gross discharge (sorry tmi) and itching like crazy, I'm so so scared it's not going to go and I'm going to end up like this forever. Please can anyone tell me their experiences and that maybe this is a delayed reaction and it will go during this course? From what the doctor said, she told me the 3 tablets in 72 hours is to get it under control then the weekly tablet is to stop it coming back. But I'm on tablet two like I said and I see no improvement at all. :(
