PMDD and yaz (eloine) question

I've just started taking yaz (eloine) for my PMDD a week and a half ago. My period tracking app tells me I'm due to ovulate in one day (if I wasn't taking the pill). And like clockwork the depression and hormonal symptoms I always experience around ovulation and up until my period are beginning.

How long does it usually take for this pill to work? I know I haven't given it long but I'm confused as to why I'm feeling this way if the pill is supposed to prevent ovulation?

I've just started eloine for PMDD too. Yes, it does stop you from ovulating (well it's supposed to) but unfortunately it doesn't work for everyone who suffers with PMDD. I'm a few days until I finish my 1st pack and I do feel the depression coming to say hello. How are you feeling now? Did you preserve or stop taking it? I hope you're doing better.
