Last year I had proper period like cramping mid cycle. Doctor did a swab for thrush which was negative but otherwise didn’t care. I had a private scan, all looked normal, hadn’t yet ovulated but could see i was due to. Spontaneous resolution.
fast forward this year. I had a cyst / boil on my mons pubis. On antibiotics for it. Halfway through the course I started getting one sided twinging (same side as the cyst) with some on the other side.
it’s now been over a week and it’s progressed to lower back pain as well.
i don’t really want to go to the doctors as they won’t be interested and I’m not sure exactly what they can test for that I can’t organise myself. I’m going to get a self test for bv and thrush this morning (but not symptoms of either, however due to the antibiotics it’s worth checking).
has anyone had similar or are there any doctors here who have any idea?
I keep reading about PID but I have been with my husband for 20 years, no recent infections and he’s had the snip so I can’t be pregnant.
