On Thursday I realised I had a bladder infection after needing the loo repeatedly. Not long after this I went to the toilet and started with a bladder spasm. They went on most times I went to the toilet.
This afternoon I ended up doing an online request through Boots for antibiotics.
Docs was full and couldn't get in soon enough.
Is it normal to have such a sudden onset? I've had it once before about 10 months ago. Exact same symptoms out of nowhere. That time I got into the ooh docs. I produced my sample and the nurse said that she didn't even need to dip it to know that I had a uti as it was cloudy and had bits in it. 
Since Sunday I've been really good at drinking 2ltrs of water each day. I've cut right back on fizzy pop and don't drink caffeine other than that.
I'm not sure what caused it and I'm confused as to what's made it come on so suddenly. The only thing I've done differently recently is some vaginal oestrogen.
