Hi there,
I am wondering if someone can help. I'll be as brief as I can and work backwards...

For the past month I've had headache and nausea + painful bladder and peeing constantly, bloating, lack of appetite. Every month I get what feels like thrush. Last week they took a swab and said I had staph A and have me antibiotics for 7 days. These made me feel awful and now I'm out the other end I still have all the same symptoms than before. Saw dr today and she checked for a urine infection - all clear. She didn't swab again tho. I've had thrush feeling every month since covid 20 months ago when they then diagnosed me with long covid (also haven't been able to smell or taste since).

I have also had every blood test under the sun. All clear.

The dr today basically ended it with see how you go. I said I have for four months. She then basically said there's nothing she can do.

I'm at a loss!

Just to add the 'have seen how i go for four weeks' is in relation to the nausea, bloating, bladder pain, constant peeing, headaches, loss of appetite'. The 20 month thing is mainly thrush every month and other symptoms that have come and gone xx

Oh sorry - to add also I was diagnosed with bladder pain syndrome but it only comes back now when I'm very tired or if I am ill/rundown

Have you been checked out for any gynaecological issues? Endometriosis and ovarian cysts can be linked to thrush and abdo pain. You may need a scan to pick that up. I'm not a Dr though. Sorry you're feeling so rough. Hope you feel better soon. Flowers

My GP has done an urgent referral for a scan on my ovaries. Also a blood test for ovarian cancer. They think potential ovary cyst. Pain has worsened so might be rupturing.
