Asymptomatic Thrush

So I had an appointment with my nurse for a cervical smear who did my vaginal swab as well as I was telling her of abnormal spotting randomly. Today I received a msg from the surgery saying I have Thrush! I have not a single symptom of Thrush. Is it possible for one to be asymptomatic? Also my GP has sent my prescription to the pharmacy so I have no idea whether it is topical or oral medication. Anyone with experience? Please tell me what to do so as to completely cure myself of this infection as I have read some people have repeated thrush infections. Can Thrush be the cause of my abnormal spotting?

Also any home remedies will be of great help!!!
Thanks.

Same thing has happened to me. I don’t always get the itch or discharge. Drives me mad. Only way I know sometimes is if I have uti symptoms or a slight redness down below but other times I have had it with no clue
