Bump on Cervix

Hey, looking for advice on what to do about that
A few weeks ago, while (TMI) removing my period cup, I felt a small bump on my cervix. Since then i've had a feel (with clean hands) a few times and it hasn't gone away but its not getting any bigger either. It feels perfectly round almost like pimple, its not sore, no bleeding etc.
Any ideas what it could be? I am trying to get an appointment for a smear test but it will likely be a few weeks and I am just wondering if I should be viewing this as more urgent.
Admittedly the first time I felt it I kind of wondered if i'd imagined it or if perhaps it was normal as I don't make a regular habit of feeling my own cervix Blush

Disclaimer - I am not a doctor

But it could be a polyp or a cyst? Def get a smear/ appt if you can though.

I noticed a small bump on my cervix when I had the mirena coil put in. As you say, if you're not in the habit of feeling your cervix, you don't know if it's anything to worry about or not. I found I couldn't always feel it when my cervix was higher up. A nurse had a look and didn't see anything concerning. I did Google it at the time (2 years ago) and I found this:

Nabothian cysts are harmless bumps that sometimes form when skin cells clog glands in the cervix

I took great comfort in reading that. Can't hurt to ask someone to check for you though.

I had some bleeding after sex and could feel a couple of these small round bumps at the opening to my cervix.
Long story short I had my GP say they couldn't see anything untoward but sent me to colposcopy for a gynae to have a look and they couldn't see anything either. I daw my cervix on the magnifying screen and couldn't see the lumps/bumps either.
They aren't getting any bigger though they are still there and the gynae couldn't see anything suspicious so I've decided not to worry about them
Also if you do a search on here there's lots of threads about them so they must be common.

A smear test is for asymptomatic people.

If you have, or potentially have, a clinical sign or symptom which MAY (see below) indicate something untoward then you need to see a GP who should refer you to gynaecology or colposcopy.

[sounds like a nabothian cyst but still get it checked].
