So I’m hoping someone can help me or at least understand what I’m going through! I feel so alone!
since having my son 3 years ago, I’ve suffered horrendously with my periods and ovulation! Mainly ovulation so I’ll talk about that, when I’m due to ovulate and during, I get the worst nausea and will throw up! I’ll feel dizzy, light headed, weak, angry, upset, body aches, headaches and feel like I’m burning! It’s awful that I actually cry because it’s depressing me so much, this will go on for a week, my period is something similar too, I’ve tried being on no contraception, depo, mini pill and now I’m 2 months into combined pill and still no progress! Please help! Also not sure if this matters but I’m 28!

hi@Katty955 i know you posted this a while ago but wanted to see if things have changed for the better for you...these days im experiencing feeling sick (nausea) during ovulation. i also get cramps/throbbing/twinges or discomfort usually on my left side its as if i only ovulate that side, never really notice anything on the other side.

Hi!

yes some improvement finally!
not 100% but I’m getting there, so I came off all contraception, had my bloods taken and was vitamin D deficient, I started taking supplements and after a few weeks I was getting better, I then started evening primrose daily and again it took a few weeks but I’m finally on the mend, still have some symptoms some months but not nearly as bad as they used to be 🤞🏻
I hope you find some comfort, maybe go doctors and have a quick check up too? x

Hi there can I ask what supplements you take? I feel awful during ovulation, feel sick, very hot, dizzy, low mood, no energy. I’m really struggling today and decided I need to get this sorted one and for all… My doctor going back on the pill but I really don’t want to do this :-( x

Hi I take vitamin D and 1000mg of evening primrose capsules daily, I was the exact same as you if not worse, I tried the contraception pill and depo, all made no difference or made me worse so I came off everything and decided to try these and honestly they’ve helped so much, did take around 2 months to show full effect but honestly worth it x

That’s brilliant thank you so much. I’ve just bought both, I got a high dose of vitamin D spray that has good reviews. I’ve just been researching vitamin D and had no idea how beneficial it was. Before I’d seen your reply I made a doctors appointment and she had also said it could be low vitamin D and booked me in for a blood test. Thanks again for your help ❤️
