I am 12 days post Lletz and doing good. Still having a very light spotting/bleed.

I am due to travel by to meet my manager for the first time on Thursday as I have a new job and it’s 3 hours away the meeting via train.

I keep seeing ladies who haemorrhage at 2 weeks. It will be 2 weeks when I go. What are the odds this will happen to me? Is it common? Rare? Do I cancel my trip? I really don’t want to as it’s a brand new job and I am her PA.

I was fine; I actually don’t remember them even talking about the risk of haemorrhage but I’m sure they did. Have you looked up the statistics on it?

3babyxx · 20/02/2023 16:09

Just keep an eye on your bleeding .. if it gets heavier then maybe suggest meeting at a different date if possible x

@Lkydfju i can’t find statistics around it but was on an abnormal cell Facebook group and I saw a few women have had it. However, it was not something stressed to me at my procedure. It only says in notes if soaking a pad an hour to call a and e but nothing on timing (eg 2 weeks later) etc

I think if you don’t smell from infection and your bleeding is minimal then you’ll be ok . I’m at the 3 week mark and feel quite healed now . But i don’t think you can say whether or not you’ll haemorrhage x

Seeing this post just now while looking for info on my own situation. Massive haemorrhage at 2 weeks after lletz, was in a&e for hours getting blood transfusions. They don't know what caused it, possibly infection. I wasn't all that restful over those two weeks because of previous commitments. I am now going to rest very much until there is no bleeding at all. Was meant to go to America for a long awaited holiday today--can't stop thinking what would have happened if I haemorrhaged on the plane. Anyone reading this who's just had lletz... rest up!
