Coil removed surgically 2021 after being in place for 9 years. Meno symptoms, no periods. Burst ovarian cyst last April with bleeding. Scanned etc nothing sinister. Bleeding again last month, scanned, small cyst found waiting to hear more from consultant. Now bleeding again!!! Can periods come back after absence? Very confused

You need to speak to a medical professional who has access to your history and the facility to do tests.
Mumsnet posters might give you all sorts of advice, but the only person you should be listening to is a medically qualified doctor.

Hi OP,

Just popping our head around to say while we agree there is a lot of knowledge and wisdom amongst our Mumsnetters, we'd always recommend seeking medical advice from a medical professional.

Wishing you all the best
