Ovarian cancer insights

Does anyone have any information on the symptoms? I don't mean the kind of thing you can google because I have done that I need some real insider information.

What kind of scan am I likely to be given? Would an ultrasound pick it up? I am seeing the GP next week about my worries.

Ovarian cancer can usually be picked up by a blood test and they’ll do a scan too.

Is there a reason you’re concerned it’s ovarian cancer specifically?

My friend has ovarian cancer and her insta is really helpful it’s noovariesandastoma

but hers was picked up on a ca125 blood test and an ultrasound scan. I had a scan on my ovaries not long before she was diagnosed and they could tell me there and then my ovaries were OK.

Groin/hip pain. Complete loss of appetite, resulting in quick weight loss.
