I keep having reoccurring thrush, my gp prescribed me canesten cream each time but it hasn’t done anything. I’d prefer to use a pessary or gel but the warning label says not to use if you have had an std. years ago my ex gave me chlamydia after cheating repeatedly. I’m curious what the reason is for not using thrush treatment if you had an std in the past. Can anyone explain? Will it be safe to use one regardless?
