Pain after mammogram and ultrasound

I had a mammogram and ultrasound yesterday (I have existing fibroadenomas and had one cyst already). They identified yesterday that I now have multiple cysts also. I am in so much pain tonight in both breasts. I didn’t have this last time I had this done. Anyone got any experience of extreme pain after this type of procedure?

Crushing cysts between plates will cause pain.
Have you been offered to have the cysts drained ?

No. Just told to wear a supportive soft bra at night and use ibuprofen gel……

Cysts can appear quickly and they do go away on their own usually but it might take years. I had several. Three of them were big, and they would hurt if I was lying flat on my stomach at the gym or anytime something was pushing against my breasts.
I had three drained and it was painless.
I hope your pain goes away quickly. Some woman do get injury from mammogram so if the pain subsides , do contact your GP.
