Microgynon

Hi all, I've started taking microygynon for suspected endometriosis, I've been bleeding for nearly 4 weeks on it now. Does anyone know if this is normal? It's been years since I have taken any kind of contraceptive pill.

It's worth checking with your GP. I would not think it's especially usual but may be nothing to worry about. It's a very old contraceptive. I was on it when I took the pill over 25 years ago!

No I don’t think that’s expected with microgynon. You’re not meant to bleed until you finish taking the packet and have a break.
