Experiences with chronic hives after months postpartum?

I have seen the doctor today and his opinion is that its heat related/maybe an allergy but I had bloods taken to check hormone levels.

I'm 8 months pp and since Christmas I've had the occasional hives flare up, usually after walks while wearing ds in the carrier. Yesterday, I had a flare up so severe that I called 111 because my eyes and lips were swelling too. They were EVERYWHERE - on my arms it was just one huge hive.

I feel this is hormone related and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue months pp? Should also mention that I bf.

No advice but I’m 9weeks post birth and have horrific hives. I didn’t mention it at the 6 week check as it had calmed down then but it’s bad whenever I breast feed

Not hormone related but I have cholinergic urticaria which is heat/exercise induced, also have spontaneous urticaria
Feel free to ask anything as I've had it 25 years!

@PandaOrLion thanks for sharing your experience! I have read that pp hives dont tend to last for too long so hopefully they will clear up for you soon :)

@Rebellious23 thank you, thats so kind! I've done a bit more research today and I'm actually thinking they might be heat related. I have read that there may be links to the gut. Have you found any specific treatment that helps?

I have tried everything and the only thing that's worked for me is Xolair injections
Fexofenadine is usually a place to start
