I have had the Nexplanon Implant for the last 2 years and 3 months with normal monthly periods. However, my last period didn’t arrive and after around 9 days late I started getting (and still getting) slight on/off period pains which is followed by brown blood and sometimes brown blood with discharge. I have had a teeny bit of red blood 2 times (approx a week apart) which was no more than a 5p in size but the rest has been brown.
i have spoken to the doctor and they seem to be happy with ‘watching and waiting’ for now but since having a child nearly 3 years ago I have became a worrier when it comes to my health.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar or does it seem reasonable to chase the doctor again?
Tempted to request the implant to be removed as since having it inserted my libido is pretty non existent.. anyone else had this?
