Married and mid 40's with 2 young DS. School runs, after school clubs and sport at weekends etc.
Late onset asthma (40) which is managed well but also have a small hernia. I go on the treadmill 2/3 times a week. Currently have an ongoing chest infection so on antibiotics.
I'm on the mini pill. I take probiotics and multivitamins, drink 2 litres of water a day and have a fairly good diet. Sleep well unless I wake in the early hours then I can't get back to sleep. Magnesium has helped with this.
Feel sluggish and I've lost the ability to drink any more than 2 drinks without sleeping badly and feeling dreadful the next day. Farewell wine! Any less than 6 hours sleep and I'm wrecked. Alcohol makes my heart faster and cheeks flush.
Have the odd night out but the sleep and the hangover are hell!
Is it the combo of age, asthma, hormones and hernia? 😂
