Worst period ever

Not sure what happened today. I had a very long (17 day) period with covid and then today is my first one since then
Started work and felt fine, and then got excruciating stomach cramps. Probably 8/10 pain and had to stop work as I was having to be vocal with the pain IYSWIM. Went to the bathroom and vomited, felt faint and lay down, then passed a clot which eased the pain
Took naproxen, paracetamol and dihydrocodeine and it's been 2/10 pain since then

The only thing I can compare it to is when I went faint after having a coil fitted and I wondered if you can get a clot stuck in your cervix? I am putting off the GP because they just say I possibly have endo, and offer me the pill or a mirena (I don't do well with hormones)
Have a copper coil and have always had painful heavy periods but nothing like this. Was close to ringing 999, and I wouldn't even ring them for a broken bone Blush

Is there a possibility you couldve been pregnant? i know the copper coil is suppose to make your periods worse maybe get it checked .. I mean my periods were worse than my labours before I had the mirena fitted but I never passed out.. you should really be seen! Defo keep an eye on the bleeding and if you pass more big clots get seen!!x

Definitely not pregnant The clot wasn't big weirdly either, but it felt like it was "stuck" and that was what was causing the pain

My sister self expelled her coil, and said it was like giving birth. The hospital said she was basically having contractions to expel it. Maybe your coil has moved? Can you feel the strings?

I've done that before! The strings got caught on the side of my menstrual cup and it was stuck in my cervix. 99% sure my coil is still there but I'm bleeding heavily and not keen on checking Blush
Would say that was painful but not the level of this morning. Felt like my stomach was going to burst or I would just pass out with pain
