Periods start/stop whilst breastfeeding?

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my baby now 6 months.

My periods returned when she was just 3 months (unlucky me :()

Me periods pre pregnancy were always regular. The last 2 periods since having baby have been regular and this month I am now over 10 days late. I have done 4 pregnancy tests first thing in the morning on 4 different days (all after missed period and 2 have been done at least 21 days after having sex).

So I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnancy

I'm wondering if my period is start/stopping because I'm breastfeeding.

Wondering if this has happened to anyone else whilst breastfeeding?

I've bf my three. My period came back between 8-9 months. It took about 5/6 months to start getting regular but even then growth spurts and cluster feeds could bugger my cycle up. X

Mine did't come back until month 7, but month 8 was totally skipped. Month 9 as normal
