Frequent long periods

Basically I have been on an antipsychotic for 2-3 years at very nearly top dose. My periods slowly got less frequent (never have they been very regular though ever since I started 15 years ago,) And two years ago I had no periods for 3 months, they did a blood test and found my prolactin was high. So they put me on another antipsychotic, at a low dose to reduce the prolactin, my periods then became quite regular really but still quite long.

So fast forward to now and I’m now on a third of the dose of antipsychotic I was on. But still on the reducing prolactin ap. and the last three periods have been like 2- 3 weeks long, not heavy or painful though (my periods never have been) and the my current one I’ve been on for just under three weeks ,between this one and the previous one I had there was a gap of 5 days. I didn’t have one in December.

it’s ridiculous. I’m so fed up. Anyone have any ideas? Or been in a similar position?

currently on holiday but gonna phone the gp when I get back.
