Hysterectomy recovery - is this normal?

I had a very complicated total hysterectomy 13 weeks ago. Due to adenomyosis, endometriosis, an enlarged uterus, fibroid and pelvic inflammation and infection I developed a frozen pelvis. My uterus was wedged into my pelvis and it took hours to remove and resulted in a large arterial bleed.

I saw my surgeon 7 weeks post op and he was happy with recovery but said it would take longer than normal given the complexity of my case. My vaginal stitches were not yet dissolved at that stage.

Anyway I was just wondering if it was normal to still be in vaginal discomfort 13 weeks post op. It is definitely becoming easier to walk long distances but sitting in one position for too long can be very uncomfortable. I'm assuming this is normal?

Any advice or experiences appreciated.
