Yesterday I had a disaster day, but I started my period and had nothing in me, sister had tampons, smaller than usual but thought it would be better than nothing. Woke up this morning and seen a tampon and thought FUCK, I can't feel it in there, I'm panicking I'm gonna get sepsis.

Wtf do I do?

if it’s smaller than usual has it fallen out whilst you went to the loo?

Try squatting down and feeling. If you can’t feel it in there at all then it must have fallen out.

You can go to the nurse or walk in centre to have it removed - it’s quite common.

Possibly wee'd it out if smaller than your usual so you didn't feel it.

Stupid idiot I am, called and was sent to hospital for it not to be in there... what an idiot, completely Mortified.

For future reference, it’s impossible for a tampon to pass through the barrier of your cervix and enter your uterus.

The vaginal canal is quite short: 3 or 4 inches and nothing can pass further.
You can feel if anything is in there with a finger.

Have a look at a couple of diagrams of female reproductive organs for peace of mind!
