Cysts / abcesses

Sorry if tmi.
I seem to have developed 3 small cysts / abcesses on the same area of my vulva, at the left side by my thigh (not near my bits). One cyst is larger, dark red & bleeding a bit.
The problem is I'm overweight so can literally only see them with a mirror.

I haven't been doing hair removal in that area (as I need to lose weight first!!) so it's not ingrown hairs but I have been wearing quite tight fitting jeans and leggings which aren't good for that area. Also I'm pre diabetic so maybe I'm more prone to that type of thing now?

Obviously it's the weekend so the gp / practice nurse is not an option.
I don't think there's any infection there so I won't be phoning 111.

Should I use salt water compresses as an antiseptic for example & apply some savlon
cream?

Any other ideas on how to deal with them until Monday when I may go to see the practice nurse if necessary??

Try sudocrem

If you post on the sporner corner board, they’ll be full of advice

I can sympathise with you, as I am prone to them too. The right fitting clothes may have been a factor, as I get them mainly where clothes rub my skin.
I advise you to bathe them in hot salted water (as hot as you can bare) a few times a day, and keep it clean and covered in between times. I also recommend using magnesium sulphate paste with a dressing/plaster, which draws the nasty stuff to the surface. Keep an eye on any infection and any redness that may be spreading.
As previously mentioned, this post would be better on sporners corner, but be warned that we all ask for photos of the cysts/boils etc on there 😁!

I expect the sporners would tell me to pop them but I really don't want an infection!

I will definitely try the salted water & I'll pop in boots for some magnesium paste.

I definitely won't be taking pics!!

Lavender essential oil might help a bit. I am not sure what they are or where they are /you say vulva but not your bits which is the same thing?) Also cammomile compress or bath, or agrimony if thats something you can get in the UK.

Sudocrem is a good shout - prone to these things too.

You’ll get a mixed response on that one, but you are wise to not try and pop them.
Another thing I often use is turmeric paste (mix turmeric powder and water to make a paste), then I cover the boil/cyst with it. Then I add a plaster. It works really well for me. Good luck!
