Botox in bladder

Wondering if anyone has experience of this as l am in a bit of a panic I had botox inserted in my bladder exactly a week ago and had absolutely no issue using the bathroom since. Suddenly today l have stopped passing urine and l am anxious about it. Would really appreciate if anyone could talk to me about this. I was warned l may experience urine retention but l suppose l thought after a good week l was going to be fine.

It's the middle of the night here so can only talk to consultant come the morning so was hoping someone could talk me down as my mind is in overdrive.

How did you get on? Are you ok now?

Oh thanks for asking! I contacted the hospital and they said if l felt very uncomfortable to go to my local A& E to get catherised. Thankfully it didn't come to that as l managed to go after about a lapse of 15 hours. Since then all has been normal. Instead of rushing to the loo every hour l know go about every 4 hours and l am drinking a lot more as previously l refrained from drinking if l was going anywhere. Happy now with the whole process.
