For context I'm 41 my usual pattern of recent years (since being off the pill) is regular heavy periods with manageable cramps. Sometimes small clottish passing of blood too.
My regular day to come on should have been thurs or Friday... I've been experiencing stronger period pains this cycle in my lower back and front thighs as well as pelvis/abdomen.
I've had a dot or two blood on a pad and last night when I peed it was bright red blood with the urine and this morning dark red / brown blood with urine...
What could this be? Could something be obstructing my menstrual blood passing and it's pooling inside me?
Appreciate I could be at start of peri-menapause but this just seems odd...
